UTV Registration

On November 20, 2023, the Beatrice City Council approved Ordinance Number 23-35 requiring Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) registration, effective January 1, 2024. Any person operating a UTV on the streets or highways of the City of Beatrice must register their UTV. To register a UTV, the following information must be provided:

  • Applicant’s name, address, phone number, and e-mail address;
  • The UTV’s VIN;
  • The description of the make, model, and color of the UTV to be registered;
  • A nonrefundable application fee established by resolution adopted by the City Council.

Registration stickers or plates issued must be affixed to the UTV in a conspicuous place. Registration is issued for the calendar year (January 1 - December 31).

The City Clerk’s Office, 400 Ella Street, is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Holidays.
