Landfill

5/1/2024: The BASWA Landfill will be closed for the remainder of the day today due to the scale being out of order. We are working to repair the issue and will provide any updates as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The Beatrice Area Solid Waste Agency (BASWA) operates the Landfill under Permit #0055158, accepting municipal waste.  Non-hazardous, special wastes are accepted, subject to approval from the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) and BASWA.  

The Landfill is located at 3426 West Locust Road, 2 miles South on Hwy 77 and 1 mile West.
