The Beatrice Public Library Makerspace is an innovative learning space that provides informal, hands-on learning opportunities to people of any age to develop creativity and digital literacy skills.

Among the equipment available in the Beatrice Public Library Makerspace is a 3D printer, laser cutter, vinyl cutter, heat press, button maker, laminator, and a Cricut.

The Makerspace is a membership-based facility. Membership options include:

  • Free Membership: Standard library card. Access to limited equipment.
  • Individual Membership: $10 per month. Access to all equipment.
  • Family Membership: $5 base fee + $5 per person per month. Access to all equipment. A family is defined as a minimum of two household members.
  • Per-day fee

Individual and family membership periods are one calendar month from the date of sign-up (ex. May 23rd - June 23rd). There are no refunds for payment of membership fees. Membership fee does not include the cost of materials. Some equipment will be limited to members ages 13 and older.

Makerspace Hours:

Wednesday - Thursday: 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Friday - Saturday: 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
