Failing sewer connections cause a serious problem for property owners, BPW, and the environment. Broken connections can leak sewage into the environment and overtax the wastewater treatment system. This incentive program is intended to encourage property owners to correct their sewer line connections by easing the financial impact associated with the repair.

Property owners must submit a video inspection showing the condition of the service line for review, to determine whether the repair is warranted. The cost of completing the video is the responsibility of the property owner. Upon request, BPW can provide a list of contractors who have experience performing this service.
