The City of Beatrice is accepting sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024 for the Beatrice Municipal Airport (BIE) Reconstruct Taxiway ‘C’ & Apron, AIP 3-31-0009-021/022/023 Project.
Bids should be mailed or hand delivered to: Alfred Benesch & Company, 825 ‘M’ Street, Suite 100, Lincoln, NE 68508. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that bids are received prior to 2:00 p.m. on April 25, 2024, regardless of the method of delivery.
Bids for the Beatrice Municipal Airport (BIE) Reconstruct Taxiway ‘C’ & Apron, AIP 3-31-0009-021/022/023 Project will be publicly opened and read at Alfred Benesch & Company, 825 ‘M’ Street, Suite 100, Lincoln, NE 68508.
The project is briefly described as follows: in general, the improvements on which bids are requested will require the following major construction items: Site preparation/mobilization and temporary airport safety measures; Milling and removal of existing pavement; Miscellaneous existing electrical removals; Existing in-ground fuel tank removal; Erosion control measures (including seeding and mulching); Storm sewer improvements; Installation of sub drains; Earthwork (excavation, embankment, off-site borrow); Construction of new aggregate base course; Construction of new concrete pavement; Construction of new taxiway edge lights (base-mounted fixtures); Airfield signage upgrades (lighted equipment and bases); Construction of new cable in duct system; Airfield pavement marking; 100LL fuel tank installation, and other incidentals as indicated in the Contract Documents.
