About the Program
Electric vehicles (EVs) are gaining popularity. Many EV owners prefer to charge their vehicles at home. EV chargers come in multiple sizes but the most common residential charger – a Level 2 charger – requires a 240-volt outlet that does not come standard in most garages. With this rebate, residential homes will be equipped with the necessary outlet so the homeowner can efficiently charge their EV. Installation should always be done by professionals and with the appropriate permits.
Benefits: up to $75 rebate per outlet (maximum 2 rebates per service address)
Who’s Eligible: BPW residential customers
How does the program work?
- Install a NEMA6-50 or NEMA 14-50 outlet in the garage or exterior of a residential property.
- Verify the outlet is connected and operational
- Submit copies of the installer itemized invoice with a completed rebate application form.
