City-Wide Cleanup

 

April 13th thru April 17th is being designated as the City-Wide Cleanup Week for 2015!

 

To schedule your pick-up, please contact the Board of Public Works at (402) 228-5211, or register online, prior to the day of your pick-up to have your address added to the list.  Items will be picked up only during the day specified for your area.  Items will not be picked up if you have not submitted your address prior to the scheduled pick-up day.

 

The City of Beatrice and Keep Beatrice Beautiful team together to sponsor the annual City-Wide Cleanup.  The City of Beatrice Street Department provides a large item pick-up throughout the City according to the following schedule:

 

Monday,

April 13th

 

 

 

The Glenover area and everything North of Summit / Logan Street to the West side of 19th Street

 

Tuesday,

April 14th

 

 

 

The West Side and Everything South of the Big Blue River, including Belvedere and the Country Club Estates

 

Wednesday,

April 15th

 

 

Everything South of Court Street and North of the Big Blue River

 

Thursday,

April 16th

 

 

North of Court Street and South of Summit/Logan Street from 1st Street to the West side of 16th Street 

 

Friday,

April 17th

 

 

 

 

 

North of Court Street and South of Summit Street from the East side of 16th Street to the East side of 19th Street; North of Court Street and South of Irving Street from 19th Street to 28th Street

 

All items must be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled day.

 

This service is limited to residential properties located inside the Beatrice city limits only.  The Street Department will pick up one (1) truck load per residence.  This is a curb-side pickup - there will be no alley pick up.  This service is for large heavy items only, i.e., furniture, stoves, refrigerators, water heaters, etc. 

 

No brush, logs, leaves, tree stumps, grass, garbage, tires, batteries, ashes, paint, chemicals, lumber, wood pallets, drywall, shingles, concrete blocks, gas cans, propane tanks, or bagged items will be picked up.  Trash/burn barrels must be empty.
